About Toon Club

Founded in 2003, Toon Club is an award-winning pioneer organisation dedicated to teaching the Art of Animation to children and young adults (Age 7 upwards)

Films created by students of Toon Club have won several International acclaim and awards. Toon Club has the honour to be awarded by ASIFA India for Contribution to Indian Animation, ABAI Make a Difference Award 2015 for Contribution in spreading social messages using Animation and ORBIT LIVE 2016 Award for Unique Contribution to the Animation Industry.

Richard Williams was such a huge influence in my early animation days. His book "The Animator's Survival Kit" was indispensable (along with "The Illusion Of Life" and "Preston Blair"), and his master class videos opened my eyes to how an animator should think. I remember he completely took away my fear of animating animals and insects.

His absolute passion for his work (especially in the crazy "Who Framed Roger Rabbit") was infectious, and made me want to drown inside my lightbox.

Thank you for all that you've done for us aspiring animators, sir. You'll be thoroughly missed. ☹ Rest in peace!
